A VOD contents audition reservation system and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to summarily watch a desired program in a specific day and time. A content distribution server(100) provides various VOD contents. A program guide information server(200) stores a program guide list of VOD(Video On Demand) contents provided through the content distribution server. A plurality of receiving terminals(400, 400-1~400-1) requests a VOD contents table included in the received program guide list to the content distribution server, and receives the requested table. An EPG(Electronic Program Guide) list includes information about a name of the VOD contents, a watching reservation date of the VOD contents, a watching reservation start time of the VOD contents, and a watching reservation termination time of the VOD contents.
