PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which prevents players from easily perceiving the alteration of set values in a machine which makes reels rotate using a stepping motor. SOLUTION: When the shift is made to a setting alteration mode at the start with a setting key switch 37 alone in an ON state, a CPU 41a in the slot machine carries out an initialization 1 for initializing all of areas out of housing areas of an RAM 41c except for a stack area being used and for a stop phase work where data indicating the stop phases of reel motors 32L, 32C and 32R are stored (Sa23).
