<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly detect the curl height from a center part to an end of a paper sheet, and to perform the correct post-processing in a paper sheet post-processing device based on the result of detection. <P>SOLUTION: A curl measuring device comprises a receiving guide part 3 which forms a part of a conveying passage for conveying a paper sheet 12 discharged from an image forming device body to a paper sheet post-processing device 4 for executing the predetermined post-processing of the paper sheet 12, receives the curled paper sheet 12, and guides the received paper sheet 12 to the paper sheet post-processing device 4, a sensor 2b for detecting a center part 12b of the paper sheet 12 conveyed through the receiving guide part 3, a sensor 2a which is provided separate from the sensor 2b in the direction substantially orthogonal to the conveying direction of the paper sheet 12 to detect an end 12a in the substantially orthogonal direction of the paper sheet 12 conveyed through the receiving guide part 3, and a control unit for calculating the curl height from the center part 12b to the end 12a of the paper sheet 12 based on the result of detection of the sensor 2b and the sensor 2a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
