PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamide resin composition for a battery gasket which excels in alkaliproof capability and wet/heat resistance exerting an influence upon a liquid leak of a battery gasket, in which stress concentration parts such as flow marks, hot-water creases, and voids at the time of shaping are not formed, which can have intensity which endures the press-fit of a current collection rod, and in which the contamination of a mold is hardly generated. SOLUTION: The polyamide resin composition for a battery gasket includes, with respect to (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyamide, and with respect to (B) 0.01-0.05 parts by weight of a fatty acid metal salt, (C) 0.1-0.4 parts by weight of a fatty acid amide, and (D) 0.02-0.1 parts by weight of a fatty acid ester.
