<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a bathroom faucet which achieves substantial reduction in manufacturing cost of a bathtub, eliminates the need for the separate arrangement of a member to cover a water supply pipe, and enables the size of a bathroom to be enlarged up to the inner dimension of a building frame. <P>SOLUTION: The mounting structure includes a covering member 9 which is arranged along the outer edge 6a of a flange 6 of the bathtub 2 to cover a gap 8 between the flange 6 and a bathroom wall 4a. The covering member 9 includes: a vertical piece part 10 projecting upward from the flange 6; and a horizontal piece part 11 projecting rearward from the upper end of the vertical piece part 10. A space 22 for lower piping is formed between the bathtub 2 and the bathroom wall 4a. A space 23 for upper piping which communicates with the space 22 for the lower piping is formed between the vertical piece part 10 and the bathroom wall 4a. A faucet fixer 13 is attached to the vertical piece part 10. The water supply pipe 17 is sequentially put through the space 22 for the lower piping and the space 23 for the upper piping, connected to the faucet coupler 13, and then, made to communicate with the bathroom faucet 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
