<p>A pipe joint member has a tubular body (20) and a valve unit (22) slidably set in the through-hole of the tubular body. The valve unit has a valve holder (26) and a rotation valve member (30) supported on the valve holder so as to be rotatable about a pivot axis normal to the axis of the through-hole. The valve holder is made up of a valve seat section (26-1) and a valve support section (26-2) that are separated from each other in a front-rear relationship in the axial direction, and the valve support section rotatably supports the rotation valve member. When the valve holder moves axially in the through-hole, the rotation valve member isrotated by a cam mechanism (32) and is displaced between a closed rotation position and an opened rotation position while allowing a spherical outer peripheral surface of the rotation valve member to slide against an annular valve seat of the valve seat section. At the closed rotation position, the rotation valve member is engaged in a sealing manner with the entire periphery of the annular valve seat to closed a fluid path. A spring member (28) urges the valve support section to urge the valve holder toward the closed rotation position. When the joint member is released from connection, a valve inside is reliably set to the closed rotation section.</p> |
