The ski binding has front and back holding systems for holding a ski boot. Each holding system acts together with a releasing system. The releasing systems (101, 102) have release springs (113, 114), decoupled from the associated holding system and arranged in or at the ski or a unit connectable with the ski. The releasing systems are coupled with the holding systems during positioning of the holding systems.
