An air conditioner is provided to prevent the deterioration of performance generating at the time of frosting by mounting an electrode part and prevent accidents caused by the invasion of water into the electrode part by mounting an electrode cover. An electrode part(22) supplies electric fields to a heat exchanger for preventing water on the surface of the heat exchanger from being frozen. A plurality of electrode covers(25) are formed of insulating materials and protect the electrode part by surrounding a plurality of electrodes(24,26) individually.
