PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric parts feeder that positions electric parts with accuracy or supplies the electric parts in a state where the positional error of the parts is already known. SOLUTION: This electric parts feeder 28 positions the electric parts 32 sent to a parts taking-out port 136 by means of a parts transporting device in the transporting direction by bringing the end face 168 of the parts 32 into contact with the locating face 152 of a stopper member 150. Then the feeder 28 also positions the parts 32 in the lateral direction perpendicular to the transporting direction by pressing the side face of the parts 32 against the locating face of a cover member 130 fixed to the main body of this feeder 28, by means of the side face 188 of one end section 187 of a pressing member 184. When the parts 32 are supplied in this state where the parts 32 are positioned in both the transporting and lateral directions, the false suction by means of a parts holding head is reduced. |
