PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter driving gear of a stone extracting machine, which can secure an adequateness as a component of an unattended automatic system under severe conditions by wind-selecting dust and vibration of a grain separator not only by a decrease in manufacturing costs by a simplification of a constitution, but by improvement in reliability and maintenance capability. SOLUTION: The shutter driving gear is constituted by a slide lever 12s supported advancingly or retreatingly so as to open and close individually each shutter board 12s, 14s of two gates by three-step control action, and the driving part. The slide lever 12s is provided with an engaging part 12r for slide driving, and a turnable turning arm 33 standing an eccentric pin 34 engageable with the engaging part 12r. Location sensors 35, 36, and 37 for a passage detection of the turning arm 33 are provided respectively at three positions A, B, and C of different angular positions within a turning range of 180°of the turning arm 33.
