PURPOSE:To make it possible to multiprocess different signals such as an acoustic signal and picture signal by recording an analog signal and high-frequency-side digital signal by it on the same recording channel by multiprocessing. CONSTITUTION:From stereophonic acoustic signal generating source 1, a Rch signal and Lch signal are outputted. This Lch signal is changed into intermediate-frequency signal A by cutting its high-frequency component by LPF2 and then supplied as an alalog signal to mixer 3. A digital signal such as a picture signal from digital signal generator 4 is also inputted to mixer 3, where it is mixed into signal A to output a multiple signal. Here, the digital signal is a high-frequency component of a band above that of signal A. Those Rch signal and multiple signal are independently recorded on Rch and Lch of a two-channel recording medium, e.g. cassette tape 5. A reproduced signal from this recording medium 5 is demodulated by a demodulator into original Rch and Lch digital signals. |
