Powder coatings based on blocked isophorone diisocyanate adducts

The invention relates to novel epsilon -caprolactam-blocked IPDI adducts obtained by a reaction with aliphatic diamines. Adducts of this type are suitable inter alia, for the preparation of powder coatings with a long shelf life; if 4(3-aminopropylamino)-2,2,4,4-tetramethylpiperidine is used, powder coatings containing a UV stabiliser incorporated in the macromolecule are obtained.
