<p>An animal propelled toy which includes a body (1) with wheels (4 & 5) mounted on the body (1) and a cage-like treadmill (7) rotatably mounted on the body (1). Rotation of the treadmill (7) by an animal, such as a mouse, captive in the treadmill provides energy which is transferred to a surface upon which the toy is placed for movement. The energy transfer may be through a cylindrical treadmill having a diameter such that when the toy is placed wheels down on a surface the treadmill periphery will bear upon the surface. The treadmill (7) includes a door means (25) to allow an animal to be loaded into and removed from the treadmill (7). </p> |
