Precise derivation of electrical signal function values - by using reference signal equalisation controller and inverse function control element

The deviation of an instantaneous signal value from a reference value and/or its time of occurrence is measured in a closed control loop. The deviation value drives a control element so as to null the deviation by regulating the instantaneous signal value and or the instantaneous reference value. The control characteristic is designed to yield the dervied values when equalisation is achieved. The control element's transfer function is the inverse of or is complementary to the derived function.
