PURPOSE:To attain simplification and size reduction by allowing a stopper to rotate and move and constituting a pressing-in mechanism for an optical fiber by using spring force and the turning force of the stopper part. CONSTITUTION:A lever 24 is moved to position the stopper between fiber end surfaces and then fibers are set. When the lever is operated, a spring 29 enters a release state and the stopper is retreated from between the fiber end surfaces as the lever 24 returns. At this time, a deformed gear 25 rotates to rotate a gear 26 a little bit later and the tip of a micrometer head 14 moves through the rotation of the gear 26, so that a moving table 4'' in an abutting state jogs. Consequently, the device is simplified and reduced in size, so the device is easily put close to an optical fiber cable connection part and the excessive length of core connection is shortened. |
