PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoelectric generating set having the excellent workability of joining by bringing a thermoelectric generating element with an oxide film into contact at a predetermined positionm by thick-film conductor paste on the surface on the low temperature side and baking and electrically connecting the thermoelectric gererating element. CONSTITUTION:A U-shaped iron silicide thermoelectric generating element 4 is sintered, heatod and stabilized while a natural oxide film is formed previously on the surface tbereof. A screw inserting hole h3 and a thread connecting hole t2 are bored while a copper pattern as an electrode wiring pattern 2 is shaped to a T-sbaped alumina ceramic board through a screen printing method by using copper paste as ink, and the pattern is dried through heating. A stainless plate is cut, a screw inserting hole h1 and a terminal connecting hole t1 are bored, and the stainless plate is bent to form a bottom plate lb and side plates lc, 1d. A bolt is penetrated up to the hole h1 in the bottom plate lb from a hole h2 in an upper plate la, and clamped by a nut 6c. Lastly, the whole is heated, and the pattern 2 is baked while the pattern 2 and end sections 4a, 4b on the low temperature side are fused.
