PATTERN RECOGNIZING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a pattern recognizing device by dividing an inspecting viewfield into right and left ranges to pick up them via two TV cameras and storing and recognizing the extracted picture signal parts as the synthetic pictures of one frame. CONSTITUTION:An object 1 to be inspected is divided into right and left inspecting viewfield ranges 1a and 1b. These ranges 1a and 1b are picked up by different TV cameras 2a and 2b respectively. In this case, the necessary parts of picture signals of the camera 2a and those of the camera 2b which is driven externally and synchronously by a vertical synchronous signal delay circuit 3 are extracted by an electronic switching circuit 4 within the one-frame time of the camera 2a. These extracted picture signal parts are stored in a picture processor 5 in the form of synthetic pictures of one frame. A microcomputer 6 recognizes the pictures stored in the processor 5 in the form of a pattern. In such a way, the constitution of a pattern recognizing device is simplified for recognition of patterns.
