PURPOSE:To reduce the human power by automating a series of work in which a bearing brought in by a travelling carriage is conveyed by a conveyor into a cleaning booth, washed with a high pressure injection of washing liquid, blown by air for liquid drop removal, dried, and sent to an inspection part. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of rolling bearings B are arranged on a travelling carriage 15 and are brought in the receiving side of a conveyor 1. Next, owing to an action of a trolley 14 of a hanging-and-supplying mechanism 10, the bearings B are shifted or traversed onto receivers 2, which are provided at a predetermined pitch on the conveyor 1. Next, the bearings B are introduced into a washing chamber 22 of a washing device 30, whose inlet and outlet ports can be closed by shutters 23 and 23. In the washing chamber 22, with the bearings B supported and rotated, high pressure washing liquid from an injection nozzle 28' is jetted against the bearings B in order to wash down the stain of the bearings B. After this washing, high pressure air from an air injection nozzle provided separately is jetted against the bearings B in order to blow away the sticking liquid, thereby drying the bearings B. After this, the bearings B are sent from the washing chamber 22 to a waiting part 5.
