PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair curling device having a simple operation, taking not so much time, allowing any perming beautician or hair dresser, irrelevant to the experience, gender, age and the like, to uniformly finish the curling without any individual difference and curling the hair like naturally curly hair as necessary. SOLUTION: This hair curling device is constituted by a rectangular flat body having guide parts provided along the longitudinal direction, a hair tuft placing member guided by the guide parts and extensively/contractibly provided on the upper face of the body, a locking member for locking the hair tuft placing member extended in the longitudinal direction of the upper face of the body at a prescribed position, a fixing member for fixing the hair tuft to the hair tuft placing member, and a return device provided on one end side of the body, contracting the extended hair tuft placing member and returning it to one end side.
