[PROBLEMS] To provide an exercise supporting method for guiding a person to do a specific exercise. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The exercise supporting method for inducing a user to make a specific motion comprises: a step of displaying paper sliding doors (35) imitating paper sliding doors on the screen of a TV monitor (5); a detection step of capturing an image and detecting the movement of the user according to the captured image; a step of moving cursors (70) displayed on the screen of the TV monitor (5) according to the movement of the user; and an effect step of displaying so as to make the paper sliding doors(35) in an order like that of opening real paper sliding doors, that is on condition that a cursor (70R) moves rightward and a cursor (70L) moves leftward after the cursors (70R, 70L) respectively move onto handles (33R, 33L). |
