<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case structure for an electronic apparatus that is not deformed easily when external forces are applied, and a portable electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The case structure for an electronic apparatus comprises an upper cabinet 7 having a top board 10 forming the outer face of an electronic dictionary 1, and an LCD frame 8 that has stiffness equivalent to or higher than the stiffness of the upper cabinet 7 and is disposed inside the upper cabinet 7 with a predetermined space from the upper cabinet 7. An engagement convex is formed on either of opposing surfaces of the upper cabinet 7 and the LCD frame 8, and an engagement concave paired with the engagement convex is formed on the other surface, respectively. When external forces are applied to the top board 10 from the outside of the upper cabinet 7, the engagement convex and the engagement concave are engaged with each other, and at least one of lateral faces of the engagement concave abuts against the engagement convex, thereby controlling relative movement along the planar direction of the upper cabinet 7 and the LCD frame 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
