PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine that can differentiate it from another vending machine in layout, and can prevent the increase in component cost and running cost. SOLUTION: The vending machine has an article sample exhibition chamber 15 in an upper area of the front door 11, and exhibits an article sample 21 in the article sample exhibition chamber. The article sample exhibition chamber is divided into right and left, a first article exhibition section 17 and a second article exhibition section 18 with a pair of vertically extending side boards 16a and 16b disposed inside. A decorative panel 35 are arranged on the front side of the pair of side boards and in a central area of the front door. The decorative panel is provided with selling operation display means 40, 41, 42, 43 and 44. A clearance is secured between the upper ends of the pair of side boards and the upper door frame 11d of the front door, and a fluorescent lamp of straight pipe shape for illuminating the article sample is arranged in the clearance.
