PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge state balance recovery method of a battery system realizing reduction in size and weight in comparison with a battery system performance. SOLUTION: This is the charge state balance recovery method of the battery system in which a high output battery (10) that has a small internal resistance (R1) and has a small capacity, and in which a high capacity battery (20) that has a larger internal resistance (R2) than that of the high output battery and has a larger capacity than that of the high output battery are connected in parallel. By an appropriate combination of characteristics of the high output battery and the high capacity battery [state of charge (SOC)-open circuit voltage], the charge state balance between the high output battery and the high capacity battery is made to be recovered promptly.
