The device (2) has lower and upper boards (4, 6) which cover computer external surfaces and are shaped in the form of a parallelepiped and pivotable about an edge. The edge is provided with openings for accessing connections and ports e.g. universal serial bus (USB), arranged on a computer rear face. The boards include slide grooves (40) in which a sliding belt (42) in the form of a closed loop is introduced. The grooves enable the sliding belt to be slidingly adjusted at a desired height position to access the ports and players e.g. DVD player.
