<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in the case of recording contents in which "copy one generation" is added to copy control information by a content recording apparatus provided with two recording devices, either of recording devices must be used for the recording of the contents and moving processing must be performed to move the contents to the outside of the recording apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A rate conversion part 111 simultaneously inputs stream data of contents inputted from an input part 110 in parallel to first and second encryption parts 113, 114 formed correspondingly to recording devices A101, B103. The first encryption part 113 encrypts the contents by an encryption key based on IDs generated from the recording device A and a recording medium (a) and the second encryption part 114 encrypts the contents by an encryption key based on IDs generated from the recording device B and a recording medium (b).
