<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide easily meltable molded solid drink easily dissolving or uniformly scattering through addition to water or hot water. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing the easily meltable solid drink comprises molding a foaming composition containing a foaming agent, trehalose, sugar and water, and drying the product. It is preferable to use milk whey protein as the foaming agent. The water content in the foaming composition is 5-30 wt.% at the time of production. The mix ratio of trehalose to sugar is (1:4)-(4:1).
