<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information processor in which offset data are automatically calibrated without any user's troublesome operation and without or be conscious especially. <P>SOLUTION: When a user selects calibration execution from a menu displayed at a display part (step S1), a game application is loaded and preparation for game start is performed (S2). Then, when the user instructs the game start (S3), a game is started (S4). Thereafter, the game is played and data for calibration are gathered simultaneously (S5). Then, when the game ends (S6), a calibration processing is executed on the basis of the data gathered during the game, and thus the offset data are obtained (S7).
