PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for controlling formation of a biofilm composed of a microorganism and a microorganism-producing substance or for promoting removal of the biofilm in various fields, and a method for suppressing biofilm formation and for removing the biofilm. SOLUTION: The biofilm-controlling agent composition comprises the following components (A) and (B): (A) A compound represented by general formula (1): RO-(EO)n-H (1) (wherein R is an 8-14C linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl group; EO is an ethyleneoxy group; and n is an integer of 0-3); and (B) An enzyme.
