<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve various problems resulting from representation of three-dimensional information, used for stereoscopic display and three-dimensional shape recognition, on a peculiar coordinate system of an imaging system having acquired the three-dimensional information. <P>SOLUTION: A common coordinate system common to a plurality of imaging systems is defined and displacement information representing displacement of the origin Ou of the common coordinate system based upon, as a reference position, the origin On of the peculiar coordinate system of the imaging system is stored in a memory in a file generator. When a file containing the three-dimensional information is generated, the displacement information stored in the memory is stored in a predetermined area h8 of a file header H. When processing using the three-dimensional information recorded in the file is performed. the three-dimensional information represented on the peculiar coordinate system is converted into three-dimensional information represented on the common coordinate system using the displacement information and then the processing is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
