PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficiently copy and movement for external media recording an AV stream having restriction of the number of times of copy in a HDD and managing the number of times of copy. SOLUTION: When the AV stream having restriction of the number of times of copy is recorded in the HDD, information of restriction of the number of times of copy is extracted from the AV stream, it is recorded as the AV stream 1 and the number of times of permission of copy is stored in a the number of times of copy permission managing part, and it is related to the AV stream 1. When the AV stream 1 is copied to the external media, it is copied to the external media without changing data of the AV stream 1, the number of times of copy permission of the number of times of copy permission managing part is decreased by 1. When the AV stream 1 is moved to the external media, the number of times of copy restriction information is added to data of the AV stream 1 to output the added data to the external media.
