<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic cooker capable of reducing a loss at a current detection means and continuously heating even though a pan generating a short-circuited current of a snubber capacitor is heated. <P>SOLUTION: The electromagnetic cooker comprises an inverter circuit 4 including a non-smoothing capacitor 5, semiconductor switches 7 and 8, and a snubber capacitor 11, the current detection means 6, and an overcurrent protection means 15 for forcibly stopping the semiconductor switch. The current detection means 6 is arranged on a current route excluding a closed circuit composed of the semiconductor switch and the snubber capacitor. Thus, the short-circuited current of the snubber capacitor 11 does not flow into the current detection means 6, and the semiconductor switches 7, 8 can be forcibly stopped by detecting the overcurrent flowing into the semiconductor switch without detecting the short-circuited current of the snubber capacitor. Then, the loss at the current detection means 6 can be reduced, and the pan generating the short-circuited current of the snubber capacitor 11 can be continuously heated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
