<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and playback apparatus which is capable of automatically uploading recorded contents to a server without considerably increasing a recording region of the server. <P>SOLUTION: An upload history storage section 8 stores therein a history of video contents transferred to a relay server 30 in the past, an upload management means 16' determines whether or not content attribute information of video contents newly recorded in a content recording section 5 is associated with content attribute information of video contents being stored in the upload history storage section 8, and automatically transfers the newly recorded video contents to the relay server 30 in a case where it is determined the content attribute information is associated therewith. Furthermore, when it is determined that the attribute information is associated with the content attribute information of the video contents being stored in the upload history storage section 8 and a difference between a recording start time and a playback start time is shorter than a predetermined value, the upload management means 16' automatically transfers to the relay server 30 video contents of which a recording time is shorter than a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
