Device and method for generating electrical energy in small power plants

Device for producing electrical energy in small power stations comprises a switch/reversing switch (6) arranged parallel to units (2, 3, 4, 5) for the electrical intermediate storage of energy for the direct interconnection of the alternating current output (10) of the electrical energy production and the external alternating current connection (11). An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of electrical energy in small power stations using the above device. Preferred Features: The reversing switch is a one- or three-phase reversing switch. Energy production and actuation of the reversing switch are controlled by a common control and regulating unit (12).
