PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage pasteboard for chip type electronic components capable of safely mounting electronic components having no troubles caused by static electricity triggered with peeling of a cover tape during a mounting process of a mounter. SOLUTION: The storage pasteboard for chip type electronic components has a conduction layer selected among a conductive fine particle layer, a deposition layer such as a metal, a conductive polymer layer, and an anti-static agent layer on its back surface. A surface electricity resistance value of the back surface is 1.0×10<SP>7</SP>Ωor less under environments for temperature at 23°C and 50% of relative humidity, and an initial charged voltage on the front surface of the pasteboard, which is measured by using a half-life measuring device stipulated in the half-life measuring method in the JIS-L-1094, is 10 mV or less.
