GREEN-LASER OPTICAL PACKAGE

A green laser optical package is provided to minimize a failure due to non-uniform coupling characteristic when receiving a laser source or a harmonic generator on a thermal conductive block or a sub mount by attaching a support member in a lateral circumference of the laser source and the harmonic generator for generating the green laser beam. A green laser optical package(100) includes a laser source, a harmonic generator, and one or more supporting members(140). The laser source generates the light with an infrared wavelength band. The harmonic generator converts the infrared rays into a second harmonic and outputs the second harmonic. The support member is attached to the lateral circumference of the laser source and the harmonic generator.
