PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability in securing a connecting glass to a mullion while a face glass is stably supported by the connecting glass avoiding reduction of an effective surface area of the connecting glass, and to improve the earthquake-resistance strength by allowing relative layer displacement between the face glass and the mullion. SOLUTION: A holding implement 9 comprises a fixed piece 6 fixed to a channel bottom of a housing channel 2 of the mullion 1, supporting pieces 7, 7 supporting an upper end surface, a lower end surface or both of them of the connecting glass 3, and pressing pieces 8, 8 holding the glass surface of the upper end part, a lower end part or both of them of the connecting glass 3. The supporting pieces 7, 7 of the holding implement 9 fixed to the channel bottom of the housing channel 2 support the upper end part, a lower end part or both of them of the connecting glass 3 inserted into the housing channel 2 from the front side.
