PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power device reducing size and manufacturing cost, and eliminating the need of a complicated control for changing power of a prime mover. SOLUTION: In the power device 1, first element S1, a second element C1, and a third element R1 of a first power transmission mechanism PS1 are respectively connected mechanically with driven parts DW, DW, the prime mover 3, and an input part 32 of a fluid joint 30. A fourth element S2, a fifth element C2, a sixth element R2 of a second power transmission mechanism PS2 are respectively connected mechanically with the prime mover 3, the driven parts DW, DW, and an output part 33 of the fluid joint 30. A rotary machine 20 is connected mechanically with one of the third element R1 and the sixth element R2, operation of the rotary machine 20 is controlled by control devices 51, 2, and a power accumulation device is electrically connected with the rotary machine 2.
