METHOD FOR AUTHENTICATING RIGHT FOR PURCHASING MERCHANDISES

A method for authenticating a right for purchasing merchandise is provided to authenticate a user who has a purchase right by using a smart card including merchandise purchase right information. A method for authenticating a right for purchasing merchandise includes the following steps. At least one merchandise information and at least one purchase right authentication code with regard to merchandise are linked each other one to one and stored in an IC card of a user. When purchasing merchandise by the IC card of the user, validity of a purchase right authentication code is authenticated. The purchase right authentication code corresponds to the merchandise that the user buys. The validity authentication result of the purchase right authentication code is notified to a terminal of a membership store.
