An automatic door lock releasing apparatus according to the present invention comprises decelerating direction integrating means (2, 12) for integrating a decelerating direction component of each of the acceleration signals obtained from acceleration sensors (1, 11) in a vehicle; accelerating direction integrating means (3, 13) for integrating an accelerating direction component; coefficient means (4, 14) for weighting an output of the accelerating direction integrating means with a specified coefficient; subtracting means (5, 15) for subtracting an output of the coefficient means (4, 14) from an output of the decelerating direction integrating means (2, 12); an arithmetic processing unit (6) for determining a resultant velocity of velocity signals; and a comparison processing unit (7) for comparing the resultant velocity with a threshold value and generating a start signal. <IMAGE> |
