PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key input support device or the like for reducing movement of a finger even in an erroneous input. SOLUTION: This key input support device 10 has a pushing duration detection means 20 comprising a timer 15 and a pushing detection part 17, for example. When an input key equipped in an operation part 16 is pushed for a long time over a threshold value, previous display information is displayed on a display part 11 instead of display information obtained by pushing just before the pushing. Thereby, the finger movement of an operator can be reduced, for example, so that the display image can be cleared without moving the finger to a clear key in the erroneous input, or operation can be continued from a state just before decision without deleting an erroneously decided character or the like and inputting a new character.
