<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which can improve use efficiency of light and is excellent on a degree of mixed colors, and a display device using the same light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: The display device has a display panel for displaying an image, a wiring base board 20 arranged on the back face of the display panel, a plurality of LED chips 21 arranged by wiring on the wiring base board 20 and irradiating the display panel, and a hemispherical lens 30 arranged on the wiring base board 20 and covering respective LED chips 21 of the plurality of LED chips 21. When an arranged space L<SB>1</SB>of the respective LED chips 21 for forming the plurality of LED chips 21 is set up to be L<SB>1</SB>and a radius of a lens 30 is set up to be R<SB>1</SB>, they have relationship of R<SB>1</SB>/0.281≤L<SB>1</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
