The invention relates to a thermoplastic composition having high thermomechanical stability comprising: from 50 to 90% by weight, preferably from 70 to 90% by weight, of crystallizable polyethylene terephthalate (CPET), from 10 to 50% by weight, preferably from 10 to 30% by weight, of polycyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate (PCT), and, where appropriate, from 1 to 30% by weight, preferably from 5 to 20% by weight, of at least one impact modifier, the weight percentages being given with reference to the total weight of the thermoplastic composition. The invention also relates to the use of such a composition for manufacturing containers, especially culinary containers, and also to a structure comprising at least one layer formed from such a composition.
