<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillatory wave drive unit capable of achieving a structure for giving elasticity characteristics and vibration control capability to contact parts between an oscillator and a driven body. <P>SOLUTION: A linear type ultrasound motor includes the oscillator 2 for generating vibration by electric-mechanical energy conversion and the driven body 3 contacted by the oscillator 2 in a pressurized state. The driven body 3 includes a driven body base part 31, an elastic member 32 and a friction plate 33. The elastic member 32 of the driven body 3 is formed with a plurality of holes 32a penetrating in the thickness direction to adjust stiffness in the thickness direction of the elastic member 32. The linear type ultrasound motor has an integral structure by superimposing the driven body base portion 31, the elastic member 32 and the friction plate 33.
