<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality liquid crystal display device excellent in viewing angle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device has a pixel including a first switch, a second switch, a third switch that is controlled at a timing different from those of the first switch and second switch, first resistance, second resistance, first liquid crystal device and second liquid crystal device, wherein a pixel electrode of the first liquid crystal device is electrically connected to a signal line through the first switch, the pixel electrode of the first liquid crystal device is electrically connected to a pixel electrode of the second liquid crystal device through the second switch and trough the first resistance, the pixel electrode of the second liquid crystal device is electrically connected to a Cs line through the third switch and through the second resistance, and a common electrode of the first liquid crystal device is electrically connected to a common electrode of the second liquid crystal device.
