An electric connector is provided to have a lock structure which prevents excessive deformation of a lock arm for engaging the connector with a panel. A housing includes an engaging member, an arm body, and a restriction member. The engaging member(158) is in the center of an appearance of a connector housing(100). When the connector is inserted into an opening(25) of a panel(20), the connector is contacted with a surface of an engaging member panel. The engaging member is installed in a side(140) facing the engaging member. The engaging member has elasticity in up/down directions. When the connector is inserted into the opening of the panel at the same time, the engaging member includes an engaging portion engaged with another surface(21) of the panel. The restriction member(157) prevents the excessive curve of the arm body.
