A rotation force interrupt unit and an image forming apparatus with the same are provided to absorb and shock-absorbs impact and vibration occurring from an interrupt plate, thereby improving reliability and stability of a product. A clutch main body(100) is installed on a base(210). The clutch main body is coupled with a rotation shaft(41). A solenoid unit(220) is supported by the base. The solenoid unit is ON OFF driven selectively by an electric signal. The interrupt plate(230) is rotatably installed on the base. The interrupt plate is hooked or unhooked in the clutch main body according to the driving of the solenoid unit to interrupt the rotation of the rotation shaft selectively.
