A memory card capable of flexibly changing the applicable scope of a service, eliminating the vulnerability of security, and providing different services depending on the user by performing access management according to various items of information associated with contents to be downloaded in downloading the contents. In the card, a data management section (401) creates access management information associated the identification information of a communication terminal, the contents, and an access condition with each other and performs an access control to an access request on the basis of the created access management information. A data storage section (402) stores the downloaded contents and the access management information. A connection section (404) makes an electrical connection to the communication terminal to acquire the downloaded contents and outputs the contents in response to the access control.
