PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker system and a mobile device, capable of having a structure for preventing water leakage of a speaker itself and thus improving a waterproof function while improving sound quality and increasing sound volume. SOLUTION: The speaker system comprises: a speaker main body 10 with a voice coil 10a; a cylindrical frame 12 formed so as to surround the periphery of the speaker main body; a protector 13 whose peripheral edge part 13c is fixed to the end face of the cylindrical frame to cover the front surface of the speaker main body; a waterproof diaphragm 14 whose peripheral edge part 14c is held between the end face of the cylindrical frame and the protector and fixed; a slit 12b formed on the end face of the cylindrical frame for pulling out the lead wire 11 of the voice coil to the outside of the cylindrical frame; and a plate 15 disposed between the diaphragm and the end face of the cylindrical frame to close the slit.
