PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen for a projector which, even when viewed in a well-lighted environment, is not influenced by external-light reflection and displays images with satisfactory color reproducibility, and also to provide processes for producing the screen for projectors and projectors. SOLUTION: The screen 40 for the projector contains a colorant having an absorption wavelength region in 400 nm to 440 nm and a colorant having an absorption wavelength region in 570 nm to 610 nm in such a state that the colorants are carried on the whole image display area of screen base material 41. The projector includes the screen. In the producing processes, an ink composition for ink-jet recording containing the colorant having the absorption wavelength region in 400 nm to 440 nm and an ink composition for ink-jet recording containing the colorant having the absorption wavelength region in 570 nm to 610 nm are ejected over the image display area of screen base material by an ink-jet recording method.
