PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird cage which can further more reduce the door-passing space, on the opening or closing of the conventional doors. SOLUTION: This bird cage 10 has a door 30 for forming the boarder of a bird-rearing space 10a, and the door 30 includes: a frame 31; a plate 32A disposed on the highest inner side of the frame 31; a plate 32B which is disposed on the lowest inner side of the frame 31 and is a division plate for dividing the inner portion and the outer portion of the rearing space 10a; four plates 32C which are disposed between the plate 32A and the plate 32B and are division plates for dividing the inner portion and outer portion of the rearing space 10a; and two hanging strings 33A, 33B which are thick hemp yarns for vertically hanging the plates 32B, 32C in parallel.
